COMING SOON: Thursday 9 February 2023 – John Coletta and the Humpff Family Revival at Falkirk Folf Club, Stirling Road, Camelon

On Thursday 9th February, Falkirk Folk Club are delighted to welcome John Coletta & the Humpff Family Revival to our first visiting performer night of 2023. The event will take place in the comfortable surroundings of Falkirk Golf Club at Stirling Road, Camelon (not far from Camelon Railway Station). Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and entry is £10 (£7 members). We are also delighted to welcome Steve Dan Mills who will open the night with some of his songs as an extra treat. Please do make use of the licensed bar facilities provided by our kind hosts at the venue. Please reserve your seat by e-mailing falkirkfolkclub@outlook.com so that we can anticipate numbers and room layout.

The Humpff Family were always a lively band. Up-beat, folk-a-billy, bluegrass and rants about life. They have had to introduce some medium tempo songs to give their wheezing audience some respite, and breath to sing along with!

Following the success of the re-released Humpff Family classics ‘Mothers’ and ‘Fathers’ as a 25th anniversary double CD with a sell-out gig at Òran Mór as part of Celtic Connections, John Coletta & the Humpff Family Revival release a new CD ‘John Coletta & the Humpff Family – Revival’. Still performing a set faithful to the Humpff classics and with a chance to expose the new songs as well, we can’t wait for them to grace our stage. Find out more about the band here.

Regulars at the Club will remember Steve Dan Mills who visited us previously at the Tolbooth Tavern. His masterful story telling, based on his rich and challenging life experiences, lays the groundwork for each song in a most engaging manner. He elicits tears and laughter and instills hope in his audience. He has been touring in the UK in recent years performing in folk clubs and festivals  to rave reviews. Find out more on Steve’s website here.
